Scope:  Design / Fabrication / Installation 

The design and fabrication of  the reception desk utilized a bamboo board formed concrete process referencing the exposed construction of the original space. Two design and fabrication processes were provided to respond site conditions. One, built, consisted of prefabricated cast concrete panels which were assembled onsite. The other being a proposal for slip forming units of the concrete construction directly onsite.

Bamboo, a design feature used throughout the office and key to the production of the concrete units, was used as itself as a paneling material for both the reception desk and sliding door.
